Background

To attract and reward outstanding international students admitted in the BSc (Hons) in Business Computing and Data Analytics (“the BCDA Programme” for short), an interdisciplinary undergraduate programme jointly offered by the Department of Computer Science, Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance in Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).

Eligibility & Application

• International students (non-local non-mainland), who enter Hong Kong for the purpose of education with a student visa/entry permit issued by the Director of Immigration.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills and great passion in studying the BCDA Programme.
• All international applicants who have submitted admission application will be automatically considered for the scholarship upon successful admission. No separate application is required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for online interview.

Scholarship

HK$195,000 per annum, one quota

Important Note

• This scholarship is intended for students studying the BCDA Programme. If the recipient ceases to study at any stage of his/her study, he/she will be disqualified and be required to repay the scholarship awarded.
• Scholarship will be renewable for the normal duration of studies subject to good academic results.
• The BCDA Programme reserves the right to make the final decision as to the list of recipients.
